Today, GoPro (NASDAQ: GPRO) announced that the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has recognised the company with a 2025 Technology & Engineering Emmy® Award, in the category of 360-degree Consumer and Professional Camera Technology with Panoramic Image Stitching Algorithms and Software for Immersive Video Production and Seamless Live Streaming.

GoPro Wins Emmy® Award for 360 Technology from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. This is GoPro’s third Emmy® Award win.
This Emmy® is in recognition of GoPro’s industry-leading 360 technology—which is core to its 360 cameras and software, including the next-generation MAX2 360 camera launching soon.
“This Emmy® award recognises GoPro’s pioneering and ongoing commitment to innovation in 360 hardware and software,” said Nicholas Woodman, GoPro’s Founder and CEO. “I’m proud of the GoPro team and all that we’ve achieved, and I’m excited about the meaningful innovations GoPro has planned for the 360 category.”
This is GoPro’s third Emmy® Award. In 2013, GoPro received its first Emmy® for its groundbreaking HERO3 camera, honoured in the category of Inexpensive Small Rugged HD Camcorders, which revolutionised how production professionals captured dynamic, immersive perspectives. In 2022, GoPro was recognised for its industry-leading HyperSmooth video stabilisation technology, featured across its camera lineup—from HERO7 Black to HERO13 Black and MAX 360 cameras.
“We’re delighted to honour once again those individuals and companies carrying the torch of innovation for our industry…We look forward to celebrating these spectacular honorees and announcing the final winners on December 4,” shared Adam Sharp, President & CEO of NATAS.
